Due to expansion and high demand for our services in both the CAMO and Consultancy/Training areas we are currently looking for exceptional candidates to fill the following positions. For the Airworthiness and Training consultants positions we have vacancies at our Head Office and regionally within the UK. All other vacancies are based at our enviable rural East Sussex Head Office. Continuing Airworthiness Manager
This position requires a high level of experience, probably over 15 years, gained in the Airworthiness Management/Technical Services field. You will likely be a degree or Part 66 qualified Licensed Engineer with professional accreditation in your field. A thorough understanding of aviation regulations, EASA in particular, is required together with excellent management skills. If you hold an ARC authorisation on current Boeing/Airbus and BAE types this would also be an advantage.Knowledge of current industry practises and Airworthiness Management IT systems is essential (Rusada Envision would be an advantage). You will also be able to demonstrate your self motivation, dedication to the role and ability to deliver in a busy working environment that demands high standards.
Senior Airworthiness Engineer
As one of our Senior Airworthiness Engineer’s you will be able to demonstrate a high level of professional achievement and development in a similar position and environment. Previous experience is required and you will be able to demonstrate at least 8 years in a similar position (possibly also in a CAMO/tech services environment). If you have held a previous ARC authorisation and have experience of lease return/delivery and aircraft storage programs this will be an advantage. You will likely be a degree or Part 66 qualified engineer with professional accreditation in your field. A thorough understanding of CAMO processes including ARC certification and Airworthiness Management IT systems is essential. Formal qualifications and/or experience managing modern aircraft types is required, rotorcraft experience would also be an advantage.
Airworthiness Engineer
To be an Airworthiness Engineer with AVISA demands a very exacting range of skills. Previous experience is required and you will be able to demonstrate at least 5 years in a similar position (possibly also in a CAMO/tech services environment). You will likely be a degree or Part 66 qualified engineer with professional accreditation in your field. A thorough understanding of CAMO processes and Airworthiness Management IT systems is essential. Formal qualifications and/or experience managing modern aircraft types is required, rotorcraft experience would also be an advantage. If you have experience of lease return/delivery and aircraft storage programs this will be an advantage.
Training/Airworthiness Consultants required
To work within AVISA Aviation Safety Systems Ltd Consultancy Services section.
Applicants must have a very detailed knowledge of the EASA 2042/2003 Continuing Airworthiness regulations and associated requirements such as Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS etc.
Key qualifications
Ex Regulator or EASA Form 4 holder in a Part M or Part 145 organisation (although appropriate experience might be considered - minimum 10 years).
Formal presentation skills / train the trainer
Knowledge of other Regulatory Codes would be an advantage
Self starter who can deliver to deadlines
Effective Communication Skills
Strong influencing and negotation skills
Attention to detail and quality
Effective report writing
Must be able to undertake world wide travel on a regular basis
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Powerpoint, Word and Excel
